Twenty years at the intersection

Keïta Stephenson, library

In October 2005, UNESCO adopts the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. That same year, I defend a law dissertation on cultural diversity at Paris Descartes, top of my class, while working in public affairs at Canal+ on that very topic. The question raised then hasn't changed since: how does culture produce economic value, and what body of law makes it governable.
